Erica and Steven were going for a modern-yet-romantic feel for their beach nuptials. A soft, dreamy color scheme of light blue, white and silver brought their enchanted affair to life.

Erica let her bridesmaids choose the style of the dress, and they kept the look cohesive by choosing knee-length frocks in a gorgeous blue color. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with skinny ties and suspenders for a modern look.
The ceremony aisle was decorated with lush floral arrangements containing blue and white hydrangeas, orchids and roses with starfish, driftwood and sea shell accents.
The five-tier, square wedding cake was iced in light blue fondant with a subtle white coral design. Two blush peonies topped the elegant confection.
Light blue uplighting, gauzy white draping and lush white floral arrangements provided the simple, soothing color palette for the reception.
Erica wore an ethereal A-line tulle and chiffon gown with a sweetheart neckline. “My favorite part of the dress is the handmade flower appliqués accented with Swarovski crystals that flowed throughout the skirt and gathered toward the hemline,” she says. “It’s so delicate and beautiful.”
“I wanted the color palette to be simple and soothing,” Erica says. Tall centerpieces of hydrangeas, peonies and white phalaenopsis orchids topped the reception tables. Each table had tealight candles and peonies in petite vases surrounding the centerpiece. Pale blue napkins stood out against the off-white table linens.
The reception space had a soothing, romantic feel with lush floral arrangements and white draped fabric throughout the room.
The couple took a spin to David Gray's This Year's Love for their first dance as newlyweds.
The coral pattern on the cake was a subtle nod to the beach nuptials. It looked fantastic and tasted great too, says Erica.
Erica's bouquet of white peonies and blue tweedia was accented with a blue beaded rosary.
The couple married on the beach, beneath a wedding canopy that was made up of white hydrangeas and phalaenopsis orchids.
