Modern and rustic elements and a quirky color palette of gray and yellow came together to create Jeb and Sandra’s charming nuptials.

Modern and rustic elements and a quirky color palette of gray and yellow came together to create Jeb and Sandra’s charming nuptials.

Sandra wore a fun pair of polka dot and striped sandals with her wedding gown.
Sandra carried an organic-style bouquet of pincushion proteas, succulents, scabiosas and white dahlias.
Billy balls, brunia berries and a tiny succulent made up the masculine boutonnieres.
The couple took a spin around the dance floor to Love is All Around by REM.
The orange-clove flavored cake, with wild honey buttercream, was decorated with a dramatic sugar magnolia flower between the top tiers.
The ceremony took place outside in the garden at the Hamilton House, where decor was kept to a minimum so guests could enjoy the lush landscape and flowers.
The bridesmaids carried bunches of football mums, tansy, yarrow, white lisianthus, dusty miller, seeded eucalyptus, silver brunia and yellow pincushion proteas.
Small clear vases filled with pincushion protea and brunia berries sat next to the larger arrangements on the guest tables.
The couple created their programs and menu cards, using yellow and gray accents to tie into the color palette of the celebration.
“I wanted to have a romantic but fun look,” Sandra says of her day-of attire. She wore an ivory strapless organza gown with a modified sweetheart neckline. A gray sash with a yellow peacock feather spiced up her dress for the reception.
