A Romantic Blush Wedding at Bull Run Golf Club in Haymarket, Virginia

Lisa Myers (26 and an administrative assistant) and CJ Huyett (26 and a service sales representative) decided on a rustic-chic theme for their wedding based on their personalities. "CJ is a country boy while I'm a city girl," Lisa says. With their distinct personalities as inspiration, the couple had a romantic outdoors event at Bull Run Golf Club in Haymarket, Virginia. The wedding took place in a tent with no side walls so that guests could enjoy the surrounding views. Reception tables were covered in soft, blush satin linens that set the tone for the rest of the wedding decor. Alternating high and low centerpieces were made up of blush roses, ivory hydrangeas, pink alstroemerias and dusty miller, echoing Lisa's ivory peony bridal bouquet. To add a rustic element to their decor, Lisa and CJ used wooden accents throughout their wedding. Guests found seats by referring to a wooden windowpane seating chart, and table numbers were written in cursive on wooden blocks at every table. The silver chiavari chairs for the newlyweds had wooden plank signs reading "Mr." and "Mrs." that looked as though they had been nailed to the chairs. Even the cake stand was made out of a wooden crate with "Love is sweet" carved into the base. See all the pretty details, captured by Alicia Lacey Photography, below.
