A Romantic, Bohemian Fall Wedding at Lonesome Valley in Sapphire, North Carolina

With organic details and muted fall hues, Caitlin Weems (28 and an e-commerce manager) and Ben Pinegar’s (29 and a digital analyst) day perfectly echoed the rustic vibe of their Lonesome Valley setting.

Ben personally designed a number of stationery items, including the rehearsal dinner invitation, welcome letter, program and even the logo that was used as a sticker on their welcome bags and cocktail napkins. “It was a lot of fun picking out the fonts for it,” Caitlin says of the design process.

Caitlin’s bouquet included wild-looking natural elements like lamb’s ear and thistle.

Rustic wood contrasted the elegant linen draping and a sparkling chandelier at the tented reception.

Caitlin paired her high neck, deep V-back gown with a sentimental family heirloom: her cathedral-length lace veil purchased in Belgium in 1954 by a family member on her father’s side. “I was the 17th family member to wear it,” she says. “It was so special.”

The couple served a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting topped with succulents and fresh pink garden roses.
