The weather is warm, the people are friendly and the food is good in Montego Bay, Jamaica, making it a super-fun spot to tie the knot! Since Sharon Lee (26 and a project coordinator) and Chris Leung (34 and a business analyst) got engaged while traveling, they wanted to have a destination wedding, and the Royalton White Sands Resort combined all their favorite things in one place. The day began with an intimate outdoor ceremony where Sharon and Chris said “I do” in front of a stunning ocean backdrop. Later, the party moved indoors to the resort’s grand ballroom, where the couple’s 35 guests had plenty of room to dance and jam to live calypso music. Classic blush pink plays up the romance in any setting, but Sharon and Chris totally embraced it in all parts of their wedding. They were a very DIY couple, and with the help of their wedding party, created many decor details themselves. (The bridal party’s silk peony bouquets looked so real, they even confused Jamaican customs at the airport.) One thoughtful detail we love? Sharon and Chris were great hosts to their 35 guests, and made hospitality bags in totes they ironed with a Jamaica design. The totes included personalized thank-you cards, the wedding itinerary, a selfie stick, sunscreen, an underwater pouch, and even a hangover kit just to name a few. See the sweet details, captured by Julius & James, below.

The bridesmaids all wore a strapless pink dress with a sweetheart neckline and a ruched bodice, just like Sharon’s wedding dress. To change it up, their dresses created a pretty ombre effect in blush, peach and coral. The groomsmen’s bow ties matched this style in varying shades of pink.

Peonies were not in season and hard to find in Jamaica, but Sharon was set on having them be in her wedding—they’re so romantic! Instead, she went on afloral.com and found silk peonies. One of her crafty bridesmaids made her round bouquet totally DIY, and we think it’s gorgeous.
Sharon wore the Austin wedding dress by Watters with a ruched sweetheart neckline bodice and flowy silk organza skirt. Since her bridesmaids were wearing pink, one of her girls made pink silk organza flowers out of silk organza to add to the sash for a subtle, sweet touch.
This simple escort card display is so cute for a classic romantic wedding. (And it’s easy to transport if you’re bringing it with you for a destination wedding.)
String-wrapped table numbers with silk peonies are super-cute (and make a simple and fun DIY project) for a romantic reception anywhere. Votives in mercury glass were a nice touch to round out the display.
The cake was perfect for the soft and romantic wedding theme. It was two round tiers covered in ruffles with cute accents of blush and peach garden roses. A large "S & C" sign for Sharon and Chris lit up the cute display.
