Noelle Nackino and Patrick Pisciuneri planned an intimate beach wedding at the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Having vacationed in Hilton Head Island as children, it seemed like the perfect spot to tie the knot. The pair gathered together 60 of their closest family members and friends for a waterfront ceremony followed by dinner and lots of dancing. “Our ideal wedding was a celebration of our union in front of our closest friends and family members,” says Noelle. “We wanted everyone to relax, be comfortable and just have fun together! We feel so blessed that for a long weekend we were able to have all the people we love more than anything together all at once.”

Noelle and Patrick put their creative talents to work, handcrafting many of the day’s elements to put a personal spin on the day. From the driftwood and sea shell wedding arbor to the invitations and centerpieces, each and every detail was a labor of love. “We were excited to take on the wedding planning as a team effort,” says Noelle. “We even sewed our own napkins together for each place setting.”

A color palette of soft pastel colors, natural textures and antique accents worked together to create a whimsical, vintage-inspired scene that perfectly reflected the warm, inviting and romantic vibe the couple hoped to achieve. After the couple exchanged vows in a ceremony officiated by Noelle’s father, the celebration continued at the resort with dinner, dancing and delicious treats like homemade cookies and cake.

Noelle and Patrick gave their bridesmaids and groomsmen free reign over their wedding day attire. The girls donned long flowing gowns in shades of blush and champagne and carried bundles of fresh baby’s breath down the aisle, while the groomsmen wore their own neutral and navy colored suits.
To carry over the laid-back bohemian feel of the ceremony, Noelle and Patrick went for a rustic chic aesthetic for their reception tablescapes. Tables were dressed in burlap and neutral colored linens and decorative floral dinnerware, floral place cards and pieces of driftwood added a note of beachy, vintage flair to each place setting.
Noelle’s gold 1930s engagement ring was the jumping off point for the wedding’s decor. The rustic bohemian theme perfectly captured the old world charm and uniqueness of the glittering bauble.
Noelle’s wedding dress perfectly captured the wedding’s romantic, bohemian vibe. The column gown featured a one-shoulder sweetheart neckline, flirty ruffles, airy draped details and a subtly flared skirt, which she paired with a flower crown and delicate layered necklace.
To infuse the Omni’s interiors with a dash of the ceremony’s beachy, carefree vibe, the couple used blue antique bottles, distressed tin vases, driftwood and burlap linens to dress the reception tables. Baby’s breath, succulents, peach-colored garden roses and greenery were woven throughout for a romantic touch.
Taking advantage of their venue’s waterfront locale, Noelle and Patrick gathered together their friends and families on the beach, where they exchanged vows with their toes in the sand. The pair let the scenery speak for itself by keeping the decor simple, adding but a driftwood wedding arch to the end of the aisle.
Noelle and Patrick ensured every element of the day reflected their personalities, sense of style and relationship by customizing each detail as much as possible. For the ceremony, they asked Noelle’s father to officiate, which made the proceedings that much more personal and sentimental.
To help guests find the way to their seats, Noelle and Patrick labeled each of the tables with hand-painted floral table numbers, which they displayed on vintage-inspired pedestals. The numbers tied in seamlessly with the decor’s romantic, bohemian vibe.
Noelle put her artistic creativity to work, handcrafting many of the wedding’s decorative details herself. While the couple decided to keep things simple for the ceremony, allowing guests to full appreciate the beauty of the waterfront locale, Noelle created a stunning driftwood wedding arch draped in garlands of tiny white sea shells in front of which the couple exchanged vows.
Instead of a traditional veil, Noelle accessorized her unique ruffled wedding gown with a romantic flower crown featuring peach garden roses, eucalyptus and baby’s breath.
