A Romantic, Formal Wedding at the Omni Parker House in Boston, Massachusetts

Kathryn Landino (28 and a teacher) and Frank Landino (29 and an accountant) were walking along the Boston waterfront after a date, when Frank suddenly stopped and got down on one knee to pop the question. They were married at the historic Omni Parker House in Boston; the couple fell in love with the stunning rooftop ballroom and the magical ceremony room, and knew it was right for them immediately. The couple dressed formally to match the venue; Kathryn wore a strapless ball gown with a scalloped skirt and sparkling beaded belt, and the groom wore a black tuxedo. Their flowers and decor followed a romantic blush and pale apple green color theme to complement the elegance of the Omni Parker House and nod to the summer season. “We were married surrounded by our favorite people, and we wanted to make sure they knew it,” says Kathryn. The couple made gift boxes for their overnight guests filled with Boston-themed treats and had a popcorn bar and photo booth at their reception for their loved ones to enjoy. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the Omni Parker House made their signature dessert for the couple—a Boston cream pie. The gold chandeliers and stunning centerpieces full of soft pink and green flowers set the stage for the fairytale evening as the couple danced to their favorite songs with all of their favorite people.
