Nestled in the mountains around Salt Lake City, Utah, the natural beauty of Louland Falls is undeniably breathtaking—that’s why Ashlee Peterson (23 and an office manager) and Dallan Lindquist (23 and a billing agent) knew this was where they would host their outdoor wedding. Ashlee donned a stunning Maggie Sottero gown—seriously, check out the lace illusion back—when she and Dallan said “I do” in front of a red rock wall. To soften the natural setting they incorporated a pastel color theme of blush and mint throughout their decor and attire—including the bow ties their dogs wore down the aisle. Their florist, Blooms and Blossoms, brought their vision to life with lush, textured flowers and succulents. To further evoke the surrounding nature, Ashlee and her mom brought in wooden trunks and slabs along with birdcages, mason jars and votives. The popcorn bar was a hit with their 200 guests, as was the dance party led by the DJ, Public Opinion Soundstage. "The dancing to follow was definitely the best part of the night," Ashlee says. Don’t miss the prettiness below, captured by Amber Shaw Photography, including Ashlee and Dallan’s wedding cake.

Ashlee carried a lush bouquet of blush flowers, including spray roses, stock, parrot tulips, astilbes and ranunculus. Green succulents added a Utah touch.
Everything about Ashlee's Maggie Sottero dress was stunning. It had delicate lace cap sleeves and lace appliques throughout. Our favorite detail? The gown's illusion back, enhanced with delicate appliques and buttons.
Dallan kept his style casual and wore a khaki linen vest and pants with a mint tie. His boutonniere was a peach spray rose with greenery that looked like it had been plucked from Ashlee's bouquet.
As a glam addition to her bridal look, Ashlee wore neutral pointed-toe shoes with crystal embellishments all over the subtly patterned fabric.
Ashlee and Dallan honored their parents, flower girls and ring bearers with a whimsical wedding sign in a mint frame, decorated with gold hearts and arrows.
Tree-trunk aisle decorations topped with blush and green floral arrangements in vases enhanced the romance for Ashlee and Dallan's outdoor ceremony at Louland Falls in Salt Lake City, Utah. A sign, which read "This is how our story begins," marked the aisle entrance before the ceremony began.
Ashlee and Dallan didn't have a wedding party, but they did include their dogs as ring bearers. They got them bow ties to match their blush and mint color theme, and one carried a sign that read, "We've got the rings!"
Ashlee and Dallan exchanged their vows in front of a red rock wall backdrop at Louland Falls. A wedding arch, draped with greenery and an asymmetrical arrangement of white flowers, along with white flower petals down the aisle, softened the outdoor venue.
The illusion back of Ashlee's dress was just as stunning as the venue, Louland Falls in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Ashlee and Dallan's guests loved their popcorn bar. They had multiple flavors of popcorn, and guests could pick their own toppings and take the bags home as favors.
Bistro lights illuminated the reception at Louland Falls in Salt Lake City, Utah, where Ashlee and Dallan's 200 guests enjoyed dinner and dancing alfresco.
The dining table centerpieces were totally DIY by Ashlee and her mom. They included a mix of vintage decor, including lace-wrapped mason jars, glasses, cages and wooden slabs mixed with succulents and flowers. Many decorations continued a "love" motif.
Wooden farm tables continued the natural theme at Ashlee and Dallan's outdoor reception. Overhead bistro lights and paper lanterns covered in lace added a vintage touch and matched the lace-covered mason jar centerpieces and lace table runners.
Heritage Cakes created a three-tier confection covered in textured white buttercream, accented by a pink peony surrounded by astilbes and topped with a gold "Mr. & Mrs." A wooden slab cake stand tied in the display with the natural decor.
Ashlee and Dallan shared their first dance to "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz, followed by their DJ, Public Opinion Soundstage, turning up the party music for the rest of the reception. "The dancing to follow was definitely the best part of the night," Ashlee says.
