Jennifer Pluymert (23 and a neonatal nurse) and David Rietema (23 and a business strategist) held their wedding at the Grand Rapids Public Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan. "We have both lived in Grand Rapids our entire lives and loved that the museum offered a view of the Grand River and downtown," Jennifer says. Inspired by the modern look of the museum, the couple went with a romantic, modern theme for their wedding. Minimal decor brought out the natural beauty of the museum, like the large whale skeleton hanging above the reception hall. A standout detail? The indoor museum carousel was open all night for guests to enjoy. Check out more photos by Kelly Braman Photography, below.

Jennifer carried a soft, romantic white and pale pink rose bouquet.
Maggie Sottero wore a ruffled mermaid-style white strapless dress.
The bridesmaids wore pale pink floor-length strapless dresses by Bill Levkoff with jewelry from J.Crew.
Each table had a white single-layer cake as the centerpiece, which guests would enjoy later for dessert.
David wore a navy Bonobos suit with a light blue tie.
