Nicole Rienzo (23, Domestic Violence Advocate for Catholic Charities) met Gavin Law (28, Wedding Cinematographer) while she was out dancing with her girlfriends two weeks after her 21st birthday. Gavin, a friend of a friend, caught Nicole’s eye with his smooth style and impressive dance moves. The two shared their first dance to the tune of Rihanna’s “We Found Love.” Fitting, since the two struck up a romance shortly there after. The two planned to say ‘I do’ eighteen months after Gavin popped the question and presented Nicole with a double-banded halo diamond stunner. The couple looked to marry outdoors, wanting to capture the romance and beauty of the late spring. Nicole and Gavin became ‘The Laws’ on June 6, 2014 in the company of 130 of their closest friends and family members. The bride and groom exchanged vows in the Dibble’s Inn garden, officiated by a close friend, Stevie, who became ordained just for the occasion. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour immediately following where the bride and groom offered their favorite signature drinks with The Old Main filled the air with folk tunes. The reception took place in the Stone Barn Adirondack Room, where guests danced to DJ Sean Morelle and Myle Walker’s selections. “As the last song of the night, we of course played ‘We Found Love,’” says Nicole. Photographer Janelle Rodriguez of Janelle Rodriguez Photography captured every special moment of the couple’s big day.

"We chose to marry our different styles by juxtaposing craft paper and feminine fonts and plum ink for our stationary. Rachel Herman, our graphic designer, made us gorgeous invitations that looked like craft paper doilies," says Nicole.

Nicole and Gavin exchanged sweet sentiments on the morning of their nuptials. Nicole read Gavin’s love letter while getting ready for the big day.
Nicole, a lover of all things romantic and lace, opted for a Casablanca Bridal v-neck lace overlay gown. Her lace edged fingertip veil sat atop her perfectly coiffed bridal updo.
Known for his stellar personal style, Gavin selected a relaxed look complete with a plum bow tie. His grey suspenders boasted a boutonniere of Queen Anne’s Lace and a single rose bloom.
