The Italian-style Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in Sonoma, California, won over the hearts of Christine Barker (31 and an account manager) and Doug Harrison (37 and a brand manager) for their classic, romantic wedding. "Since we were getting married in the late summer and were having a significant portion of our wedding outdoors, we wanted vibrant, colorful jewel-tone flowers and decor," Christine says. And so they used vibrant tones—especially different shades of purple that ended up being the main wedding day color. Jacuzzi Family Vineyards's brick walls covered with lush greenery served as the backdrop for the ceremony, where the naturally beautiful space needed little to no additional decor. Wine corks served as holders for white escort cards with dark blue accents, guiding guests to assigned tables decorated with purple linens and purple flower centerpieces. We fell in love with Christine's dress, just as she did—an ivory Pronovias gown with a sweetheart neckline that she had spotted during international travels. "We ended up finding a store that carried the exact dress that I saw in Spain," Christine says. "It’s so cliche, but I did have a teary 'I said yes to the dress' moment." Check out the many other details that stole our hearts, below.

During the ceremony, the two ring bearers carried a wooden box down the aisle, carved with Christine's and Doug's first names, their wedding date and lyrics from the song that they shared their first dance to.
Christine wanted a classic dress, and when she came across the Pronovias Orel gown during her travels in Spain, she knew she had found her inspiration. Little did Christine know she would find the dress in a bridal store that carried an exact replica. The ivory strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline had tulle wrapped around the silhouette, bunching to one side.

Doug had a purple calla lily and purple orchid boutonniere pinned to the lapel of his light gray custom-made suit. The boutonniere matched his dark purple tie and purple-and-white-striped dress shirt, along with the many other purple accents seen throughout the wedding day.
Down Hairstyle and Dangling Silver Earrings
Christine's purple and pink bouquet filled with roses, lisianthus and stock truly embodied the romantic vibe of the wedding day. The flower arrangement had a purple wrap tied around its stems to keep all the flowers together.
The open window revealed the outdoor reception space at Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in Sonoma, California, enclosed by stone walls covered with lush greenery. Guests sat at round dining tables that were covered in purple linens and decorated with floral centerpieces.

At the outdoor reception, round dining tables scattered around the stone surface had purple linens and purple flower centerpieces. Each table had a number made of wine corks provided by Jacuzzi Family Vineyards, adding a nice personal touch to the decor.
Numbers made from Jacuzzi Family Vineyards's wine corks marked dining tables, incorporating the wine-country style into the wedding day. Lush flower centerpieces filled with roses, hydrangeas and other purple blooms decorated the dining tables as well, adding more purple color to the occasion.

The salad course consisted of baby spinach leaves, glazed walnuts and dried cranberries dressed in mango vinaigrette. It was followed by the main entree: fish, beef, pasta or vegetables—an option for every kind of craving.

The three-tier ivory wedding cake had a different textured pattern on each layer, with different fillings. "We chose this combination so each layer had its own style and flavor, which made for great variety for all our guests," Christine says.
