A Romantic Outdoor Wedding at Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in Sonoma, California

The Italian-style Jacuzzi Family Vineyards in Sonoma, California, won over the hearts of Christine Barker (31 and an account manager) and Doug Harrison (37 and a brand manager) for their classic, romantic wedding. "Since we were getting married in the late summer and were having a significant portion of our wedding outdoors, we wanted vibrant, colorful jewel-tone flowers and decor," Christine says. And so they used vibrant tones—especially different shades of purple that ended up being the main wedding day color. Jacuzzi Family Vineyards's brick walls covered with lush greenery served as the backdrop for the ceremony, where the naturally beautiful space needed little to no additional decor. Wine corks served as holders for white escort cards with dark blue accents, guiding guests to assigned tables decorated with purple linens and purple flower centerpieces. We fell in love with Christine's dress, just as she did—an ivory Pronovias gown with a sweetheart neckline that she had spotted during international travels. "We ended up finding a store that carried the exact dress that I saw in Spain," Christine says. "It’s so cliche, but I did have a teary 'I said yes to the dress' moment."
