After Morgan Wright (21 and a sales representative) was a bridesmaid at Creekwood Gardens in Rogers, Arkansas, she knew that she and Daniel Wright (24 and a pharmacy school student) would exchange vows there. “I loved it because it was all outdoors and had a backyard feel to it,” she says. Morgan and her bridesmaids got ready at the little house on the property before having their ceremony next to a little creek surrounded by trees, which created a super-romantic vibe. The tented reception was set up on the other side of the house with a giant dance floor between the two spaces. “It was the perfect location for a more intimate-feeling wedding, even though we had a lot of guests, and it turned out to be perfect weather for an outdoor May wedding as well,” Morgan says. “It felt like I was at home, and I was so comfortable there.” Wanting all the details to take on the rustic-meets-romantic wedding theme, Morgan and Daniel chose a blush, ivory and gold palette complete with lots of burlap and wood details. There are so many details we love about this romantic fete. See them all, beautifully captured by Stephanie Dawn Photography, below.

The invitations set the tone for the day with their romantic, rustic vibe. The black-and-white background was designed to look like chalkboard and the pink watercolor flowers matched the soft palette.
Morgan decided to forgo heels for her outdoor wedding and wear flats. Wanting her all her accessories to match, she wore sparkly silver flats that went with her jeweled belt and glam headpiece.

Rustic Wooden Double Doors Ceremony Entrance
Morgan and Daniel had their wedding at Creekwod Gardens in Rogers, Arkansas. Morgan had been a bridesmaid at the venue a year before her own wedding, and she loved the backyard feel to it. She and the bridesmaids got ready in the little house that morning, and the ceremony took place outside next to a little creek surrounded by trees.
Brown-and-White-Striped 'Mr. & Mrs.' Sign
Morgan and Daniel exchanged vows under a wooden wedding arbor decorated with cascading branches, lots of lush greenery as well as hydrangeas and roses. They loved how it blended into the woodland backdrop while still adding plenty of romance to the space.
The bridesmaids wore short, strapless, blush chiffon dresses from David’s Bridal. “I wanted a color that didn’t stand out too much, and wanted it to look great on every body type,” Morgan says. “The chiffon fabric was great at doing that.” The groomsmen wore black pants, black suspenders, white shirts and pink paisley bow ties. “I wanted them to be pretty simple and didn't want them to get too hot in suits all day.”

The reception tables were topped with burlap runners and gold vases filled with white hydrangeas and blush roses. Morgan and Daniel loved the combination of romantic and rustic aura it provided.
Morgan and Daniel served a traditional white cake, a four-tier masterpiece with white icing from Rick's Bakery. The outside was decorated with gold ribbon and cascading pink alstromerias and roses.
Daniel’s groom’s cake was a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate ganache on top. It was decorated with “Arkansas Razorbacks, Go Hogs!” along with the the mascot.
