A Romantic, Spring Wedding at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, California

Mona Tashroudian (30 and an attorney) and Iman Lordgooei (31 and an attorney) met through mutual friends on a night out in San Francisco, California. Their first time out together, a classic dinner and movie date, was a success and eventually led to the two going for runs which Mona thought Iman enjoyed doing. She later found out he didn't enjoy running nearly as much as he enjoyed getting to spend time with her. It was no wonder the couple chose a romantic theme for their wedding, held at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. The ceremony was decorated in bright floral arrangements inspired by the Spring season to offset the neutral colors of the venue. After the ceremony, guests were taken on a tour of the city by trolley as they made their way to the cocktail hour and reception at Roy's Restaurant, also located in San Francisco. The reception was decorated in darker shades accented by a palette of cream and white to bring in the romantic vibe of the ceremony. Guests were treated to delicious appetizers and hours of dancing, followed by a round of late-night snacks including sliders and fries. "At the reception, there was lots of dancing, a photo booth, delicious food and dessert, and lots of fun!" says Mona.

The Bride and Groom Showing Off their Rings
Mona bought her dress from the first store she went to. She had only been shopping for an hour when she found the one!
Mona stuck with a classic bouquet of white and ivory to add to the timeless look of her gown. The bright greens popped against the colors of the venue and brought a Spring feel to her wedding day look.
Mona and Iman chose to hold their reception at the Palace of Fine Arts. They wanted to keep the ceremony in their home city and find a venue with a romantic feel.
Rather than choose one dress for all of her bridesmaids, Mona gave them a swatch of the color she'd like them to wear and allowed each bridesmaid to choose a dress she felt comfortable in.
