Romantic serenity at its finest. In the Santa Monica Mountains in Calabasas, California, Audrey Ley (28 and a digital director at Us Weekly) and Matt Scheck (32 and a lawyer) held their elegant, vintage-inspired wedding at Ahmanson Ranch, where scenes from many classic movies were filmed, including "Gone with the Wind." “The house on the property was built in the 1930s, and the serenity of the ranch quickly sold us as we were searching for the perfect venue,” Audrey says. The couple chose a blush, ivory and gold palette that was elegant yet subtle enough to accentuate the surrounding beauty at the ranch, captured by Onelove Photography. Audrey wore a champagne-colored wedding dress covered in sequins by Anthropologie's wedding brand BHLDN, while her bridesmaids wore knee-length white dresses, reversing the traditional color scheme usually worn by the bride and her bridesmaids. Audrey’s Texas roots were represented with a few Southern accents, such as the chicken and waffle appetizers and quotes depicting the couple’s favorite country songs, thanks to the help of A Savvy Event. There wasn’t one thing we didn’t like about this wedding, but we especially loved the pink and white watercolor invitations with gold calligraphy that welcomed guests. “There are so many opinions during the wedding-planning process, which can be fun but also overwhelming,” Audrey says. “I found it refreshing to listen to my gut and make decisions quickly before anyone else really had time to influence me.”

The invitations were printed on white stationery splashed with pink watercolor designs and gold calligraphy. This perfectly followed the romantic palette of pink, ivory and gold.
"As a lover of all things vintage, the ring was a no-brainer," Audrey says. "My grandmother willed her wedding ring to me when she passed away, and I knew immediately that I wanted it to be my wedding ring. Matt had it cleaned and sized before proposing with it, and I love that it's a daily reminder of my grandmother, who I loved so much."
Audrey and her bridesmaids held pastel-colored bouquets filled with a variety of garden roses, peonies, hydrangeas and roses. The flowers were tied by the stems with pink and white ribbons.
Blush Rose Boutonnieres in Basket
Audrey stood out wearing her champagne-colored dress accented with gold sequins next to the bridesmaids, who wore the traditional white wedding-dress color. The bridesmaids picked out their style choice of knee-length dresses.
Audrey wore a strapless champagne-colored dress embellished in gold sequins by BHLDN, Anthropologie's wedding brand. "Given that the wedding dress was nontraditional champagne fabric covered in sequins, I didn't want to invite other opinions," Audrey says. "I did a first look with my bridesmaids before we went to the venue, and it was so much fun to see the look on their faces when I came into the room."
Lush Hydrangea, Rose and Peony Flower Arrangements
The couple held their ceremony outside at Ahmanson Ranch in Calabasas, California, where gold chairs were arranged in rows for guests to sit and watch the service. The wedding arch where vows were said was covered in greenery accented with pink hydrangeas.
Matt kissed Audrey on the cheek as they walked up the aisle during their recessional. "Matt wore a navy blue Hugo Boss suit and bow tie to stand out among his groomsmen, who wore Zara gray suits with ivory ties," Audrey says.
Gold Chairs Wrapped in Ribbon
Guests received white and gold koozies, with the couple's initials on one side and lyrics on the other from "LA County" by Lyle Lovett.
Gold Stag Figurine With Seating Arrangement
The three-tier ivory wedding cake was accented from top to bottom with pink cake flowers, created by Fantasy Frostings. The cake was positioned on top of a gold stand, and the top was accented with wooden figurines of the bride, groom and their dog, who was present at their wedding.
Guests lined up on both sides of Audrey and Matt as they exited the reception at the end of the night. They all popped confetti from pink dispensers given to them at the wedding.
