A Romantic, Vintage Wedding at The Plantation House in Pflugerville, Texas
Andrea Bowers (23 and in merchandising) got an English bulldog and an engagement ring from Caleb McSorley (24 and an internal wholesaler) at the same time. They got married at The Plantation House in Pflugerville, Texas, a home with large white pillars and an ornate cast iron door. “I fell in love with the location as soon as we came down the dirt road and saw it,” says Andrea. The ceremony took place outside under a quaint gazebo, and the reception moved under a tent. The couple describes their wedding style as vintage romance and incorporated a neutral color palette with a focus on metallics. “I loved the idea of using lanterns and birdcages as centerpieces because I’m not a really big floral arrangement person,” says Andrea. They made it a point to include their dog, who was present for their engagement, in every step of their wedding day, from their walk down the aisle to the reception. The bride says it was one of her favorite parts of the day!
