A Romantic Wedding at Crosswater Hall at Nocatee in Ponte Vedra, Florida

Everything about Kelley Nelmapius (24) and Kegan Nelmapius’s (24) pink and white wedding was romantic - from the pink floor-length bridesmaid dresses to the lilies-of-the-valley-draped wedding arch. Corinna Hoffman Photography documented every detail of the day, which started with an outdoor lantern-lined ceremony and ended in a fun indoor reception at Crosswater Hall at Nocatee. KIS Events and Island Girl Flowers helped Kelley and Kegan create a garden atmosphere by filling the wedding with eye-catching arrangements. Two lush displays of pink and white stargazer lilies, roses and hydrangeas in silver urns surrounded the couple's wedding arch as a white flower petal “N” and scroll design covered the aisle. Inside, the couple’s florist designed a garland of roses and stargazer lilies under three vintage-style candelabras for the venue's fireplace. Low complementary displays of pink and white flowers in silver candlesticks were set on each round linen-covered table. Another standout detail at the reception was the lighting design. Neutral vintage-style lanterns with delicate floral-design accents hung from six black chandeliers. Each lantern was well suited against the venue's dark wooden ceiling and added a welcome glow to the room. For future couples, Kelley has a tip for the taking: “Have fun planning your special day. We had such a fun time planning it together, and it turned out perfect.”

KIS Events, the couple's wedding planner, added a vintage and welcome touch to the venue's wooden ceiling. Black chandeliers were complemented with hanging neutral lanterns. Each accent had a subtle floral design that paired nicely with the couple's rose, stargazer lily and greenery-accented centerpieces.
With the help of Island Girl Flowers, Kelley and Kegan turned their palm-tree-lined ceremony space into a "garden." White flower petals lined the aisle in the shape of their initial and a scroll design for a whimsical touch along the aisle. Two overflowing arrangements of stargazer lilies, hydrangeas and roses accented the wedding arch, which resembled something out of a dream. Lilies of the valley were intertwined with roses for a romantic touch against the wire frame.
“Our flowers of choice were roses, roses and more roses," Kelley says. A low pink rose display with white orchids and green hypericum berries was just one of the multiple arrangements designed by Island Girl Flowers. The couple's florist and KIS events created a romantic atmosphere for the wedding with lush pink roses, stargazer lilies and hydrangeas. From Kelley's bouquet to the centerpieces, almost every arrangement included a rose bloom in Kelley and Kegan's wedding colors.
Kelley and Kegan used subtle white signs to add a romantic touch and a little fun to their wedding day. During the bridesmaid ceremony procession, each woman paired her floor-length pink dress with a simple sign that included one word from the phrase “Just wait until you see her.”
White Programs and Pink Rose Accent
Island Girl Flowers worked with Kelley and Kegan to make their wedding ceremony feel like a garden. Lines of flower petals and two lush arrangements in gray urns accented a whimsical wedding arch. Dripping with white lilies of the valley, the green arch was met with pink and white roses for a romantic touch.
Pink Bridal Bouquet
“The wedding dress choice was a no-brainer, even though I think I tried on every single dress in Jacksonville,” Kelley says. “Ever since I was a little girl I had my heart set on having the princess gown for my wedding.” When the day finally came, she chose an ivory ball gown with Swarovski crystals and beaded accents on each embroidered scroll detail. She completed the look with a fingertip-length veil, updo hairstyle and a fun twist: Swarovski crystal-detailed sneakers for the reception.
During the reception, Kelley switched her hot pink peep-toe wedding shoes for something a bit more casual, nontraditional and fun: high-top sneakers. Each Swarovski crystal on the shoes mirrored the details on her ivory wedding dress. The pink tulle laces also complemented the couple's pink and white wedding colors.

Romantic Florida Country Club Reception Decor
Kelley and Kegan accented their pink and white floral-covered wedding with a matching wedding cake from Metro Custom Cakes. Each round ivory tier was met with either a quilted design, a champagne bow or stripes for a fun touch as pink roses and tea roses were used as accents.
While lush greenery and roses from Island Girl Flowers accented each reception table, Kelley and Kegan brought a bit more of the outdoors into the reception with a fun groom's cake. Baked by Metro Custom Cakes, the couple chose a camping-inspired confection with a personal twist. A small version of the couple were placed in a fondant tent alongside the cake.
