A Romantic Wedding at the Jonathan Club in Los Angeles, California

Although they had crossed paths a couple of times, Christina (24 and works in TV) and Peter (44 and works in oil and gas) didn't fall for each other until he tried to rescue her at 2 a.m. as she tried to move her sister cross-country. The two dated long-distance for a year, spending every weekend traveling between Texas and California, until Easter, when Peter proposed in front of a bonfire at Christina's parents' house with a custom ring “that never stops glittering.” Since they were planning to move to Texas after the wedding, the couple got married in Los Angeles, California, at the Jonathan Club. “Los Angeles is home for me, and the Jonathan Club was a place I would go with my father and grandfather growing up.” The light, airy rooftop, surrounded by breathtaking views of the city, provided the elegant backdrop they were looking for in their ceremony space. The 1924 social club also provided the perfect spot for a luxurious cocktail hour and reception. Christina and Peter introduced a color scheme of white, dark gray, light gray and black, which complemented the accents of gold in the Jonathan Club's decor. Using the venue to tie everything together, they carried the elegant 1920s theme into the bridal look with a figure-hugging lace dress with a cathedral-length veil. “I was surprised with a family heirloom diamond bracelet from the '20s by my grandparents during the preceremony photos," Christina says. "We wanted everyone to look very clean and classy.” —Rachel Sylvester
