A Romantic Wedding With Rustic Charm at Bernardo Winery in San Diego, California

Bernardo Winery in San Diego, California, is one of the oldest working wineries in the Southern part of the state. It also had an outdoor space filled with rustic charm for this romantic wedding. Kimberley Latham (33 and a speech pathologist) and Andrew Chambers (35 and in medical sales) fell in love with the open landscape strung with twinkling lights that was captured on camera by Brett Charles Rose Photo. The vibrant bridal bouquet of garden roses, chrysanthemums, daisies and smaller blooms added pops of color to Kimberley's ivory lace Matthew Christopher dress with a sweetheart neckline. The bridesmaids wore white shirts tucked into knee-length royal blue skirts and the groomsmen matched Andrew with gray Black By Vera Wang suits, with an ivory and blush rose boutonniere pinned to the lapels of their jackets. The ceremony took place on the lush green lawn, where the aisle was lined with ivory flower arrangements hanging from metal hooks that led to the white wooden gazebo where Kimberley and Andrew were married. Guests found their seating cards displayed on white wooden panel boards, which guided them to their table marked with a coral number on a white painted bottle. We fell in love with their beautiful four-tier wedding cake decorated with orange flowers, which had a layer of blue wrapped around the bottom of each tier and was topped with bride and groom bird figurines. "Enjoy every moment, because it goes so fast," Kimberley says. "Know that you will not get to talk to everyone, but don't feel bad—people understand."
