Jemma Eriksen (31 and an attorney) and Matthew Dunn (32 and works in commercial banking) met at their alma mater, Pepperdine University. They quickly hit it off, but their fling was short-lived and the two went their separate ways. Six year later, Matthew reached out to Jemma via Facebook and they decided to give things another shot. "One of our first official dates was a snowboarding trip together in Mammoth," says Jemma. "I think I won him over when I beat him down the hill!" A wedding in Colorado seemed like the perfect fit for the couple. Not only is Colorado Jemma's home state, it's where the couple spent a lot of their time together, getting to know one another and building their relationship. The couple planned a romantic, winter-inspired affair at the rustic Devil's Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, CO, opting for a timeless color palette of white and ivory to add a polished touch to the venue's rustic interior. Airy, cream-colored fabric and chandeliers were hung from the space's exposed wooden beams and pillar candles lined the aisles to create a romantic ambiance. For the reception, the couple decked out the tables with crisp white linens, burlap runners and fresh bunches of hydrangeas, roses, orchids and willow branches as a nod to the day's theme.

Snowy Mountain Wedding Locale
While the couple opted for a classic, whimsical design for their wedding invitations, they opted to have a little fun with their save-the-dates, incorporating a photo of their two dogs into the design.
Panels of sheer, cream-colored fabric and elegant chandeliers were draped from the exposed wooden beams at Devil's Thumb Ranch to give the rustic space an elegant, romantic touch.
Instead of lining their aisle with flowers, Jemma and Matthew opted for ivory pillar candles. The candles tied into the warm, inviting and romantic feel they were trying to achieve.
Whimsical Gate Fold Programs
The ring bearer carried Jemma and Matthew's wedding bands down the aisle in a small box made from a hollowed out branch.
For a newsboy-inspired look, the ring bearer wore a classic gray flat cap, gray suspender s and a navy diamond-shaped bow tie.

Whimsical Tulle Flower Girl Dress
Because the couple knew they would be out and about in the snow, their attire for the wedding wasn't their biggest concern. However, Jemma found a striking strapless gown in a dropped waist silhouette with a floral tulle skirt at David's Bridal at a great price.
