A Romantic, Winter Wedding at Canopy Creek Farm in Miamisburg, Ohio

Cori Stuhlmiller (24 and a graphic designer) and Max Lamme (24 and an engineer) wed in a traditional ceremony at the bride’s family church, followed by a winter woodland reception at a local farm.

“I wanted my hair to feel loose, almost as if I had just run through the woods,” Cori says.

The high school sweethearts wanted to create a cozy, romantic setting reflective of their own relationship, as well as the love and support shared by their family and closest friends. String lights and dozens of flickering candles illuminated the barn’s wood interior, giving the room an intimate ambience.

“We wanted our guests to leave the wedding just as dreamy-eyed as Max and I were when we left,” Cori says.

Inspired by the natural beauty of winter, the décor featured seasonal greenery, burgundy blooms and elegant gold accents. Classic black suits, deep plum dresses, and fur stoles were a perfect match for the chilly weather.
