A Romantic Winter Wedding at Log Haven in Salt Lake City, Utah

For a woodland wedding surrounded by gorgeous natural scenery, including tall trees, mountains and seasonal snow, Log Haven in Salt Lake City, Utah, has it all. That’s why Julie Sagers (25 and a lawyer) and George Hannan (28 and an artist) got married in this log cabin in front of oversize windows that showcased the fresh snowfall outside. They even included the signing of their marriage contract into their ceremony to make everything official all at once. Skyline Floral created the classic and understated floral arrangements of roses and lilies in blush and white hues. Since the log cabin venue was so pretty, Julie and George didn’t add much decor. But they did design their own wedding cake, which was a piece of art in itself. For wedding favors, Julie and George let their guests in on an Italian tradition: They gave each guest seven candy-coated almonds. Tradition says that if you sleep with them under your pillow, you will dream of the person you're supposed to marry. They also gave out pizzelles, an Italian cookie homemade by Julie’s grandmother, as a sweet treat. See the pretty details below, captured by the talented Logan Walker Photography.
