A Rustic-Meets-Vintage Wedding at Vinewood Plantation in Newnan, Georgia
Chante Zaworski (33 and a registered nurse) and Crystal White (30 and a paramedic) went on a cruise to Alaska to celebrate Crystal's 30th birthday. They took a tour with Chante's parents, and when they landed on top of a glacier, Crystal popped the question with a custom cushion-cut engagement ring. The pair drew inspiration for their nuptials from her vintage-style ring and spent the next 11 months planning their rustic-meets-vintage affair at Vinewood Plantation in Newnan, Georgia. "Vinewood is a beautiful home and horse stables set on a lovely property of long beautiful grasses and hills," says Chante. "We chose this location because we were looking for a place that would meet Crystal's simplistic way of life and my desire for a rustic-elegant feel." The pair lined the aisles with tree trunks, candles and greenery and hung votives in the trees. The newlyweds decided to use a color palette of burgundy, jasper and champagne and incorporated peonies (Chante's favorite flower) with burgundy calla lilies (Crystal's favorite) with ranunculus and hydrangea. "The colors were perfect for a winter wedding, and while we didn't want a holiday theme, they gave a small nod to the season while keeping with the vintage-meets-rustic theme that we were going for," says Chante. From the sash on Chante's gown to the custom drapes that hung over the barn's dance floor, champagne warmed the vintage celebration. "The day was a perfect display of Crystal and I," says Chante. "It had the warmth and simplicity that I feel Crystal and I really have always had in our relationship, while also remaining elegant and beautiful."
