A Rustic Ballroom Wedding at the Amway Grand Plaza in Grand Rapids, Michigan

When Olivia Bush (24 and a hair stylist) and Adam Kipen (25 and a CPA) settled on the Amway Grand Plaza in Grand Rapids, the bride didn't have to look far to find some much-needed planning help. "We hired Jennifer Ederer, the owner and lead designer at Modern Day in Grand Rapids," Olivia says. "She just so happens to be an incredible event planner...and an even better mother!" Armed with some serious Pinterest inspiration, Olivia and her wedding-saavy mom planned a feminine ballroom wedding complete with rustic elements and just the right amount of DIY flair. "We chose the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel because they're a full-service, exceptional venue that had the capability to exceed our expectations and handle our every need," Olivia explains. "The Imperial Ballroom had this incredibly warm and intimate look and feel that contributed to the rustic, raw look that we originally sought out for our wedding day."
