Ashley Douglass (28 and the general manager of Grafton Street Pub & Grill) and Mike Casano (36 and a musician) met on a blind date during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend in 2010. A mutual friend arranged the set up, encouraging Ashley to attend one of Mike's gigs and see him perform. The two hit it off and the rest is history. Mike proposed to Ashley during a blizzard in January 2014. Ashley left their apartment in the morning to go to work, but the road conditions were so bad she had to turn around and go home. When she returned, she was surprised to find Mike was not there. Little did she know, Mike was out braving the storm in order to pick up her engagement ring. Mike made it back safely, took four steps into the apartment and popped the question on bended knee, presenting Ashley with a classic solitaire stunner. Over the course of their 14 month engagement, Ashley and Mike planned a relaxed celebration, held at Bittersweet Farms in Westport, Massachusetts. Ashley and Mike said 'I do' on March 14, 2015 in the company of 120 of their closest friends and family members. Photographer Mallory Ruggiero of Photography by Mallory captured every memorable moment from the couple's big day.
