Maggie Wengerd (29, a teacher) and Tom Herrmann (29, a healthcare administrator) met at bar, where Tom approached Maggie had a nice conversation. By the end of the night, Tom asked for her last name to find her on social media and stay in touch. Tom went to visit Maggie on the 4th of July of that same year, and they were inseparable ever since. One night, the couple was on their way to a nice dinner when Tom suddenly stopped on the walk over. He then proceeded to get down on one knee and ask Maggie for her hand in marriage. The couple booked Little Brook Meadows in Lancaster, Ohio to bring their rustic, country themed wedding to life. The ceremony and reception were both held in an old horse stable barn that had been converted into an event venue. on the farm property, with lanterns and strung lights hanging from the ceiling. Maggie went for a simple yet elegant ivory wedding dress accented with lace and beads. Tom complemented the simplicity with a classic black tuxedo with a white shirt, suspenders and tie. The color palette of black, ivory and blush subtly decorated the venue, which had white reception tables with baby’s breath flower arrangements. The three-tiered wedding cake finished off the night on a sweet note, accented with baby’s breath and a variety of roses.
