A Rustic, Bohemian-Themed Wedding at Beaulieu Garden in Napa, California

This garden, bohemian-style wedding came to life through hues of ivory, dusty rose, peach, gray and olive green -- inspired by a Moroccan wedding blanket that served as the focal inspiration for the warm color palette. Sarah Morse (29 and in sales marketing) and William Cooney (30 and the owner of Splintered Sunlight Trading) had visited Napa, California, several times before and wanted to share their love for the local food, wine and surrounding area with guests at Beaulieu Garden in Napa, California. “From the tree-lined drive to the romantic sunken garden and the sycamore arbor, everything was perfectly dramatic and intimate, all at the same time.” The couple said their vows as they were surrounded by the lush landscape of the gardens, with overflowing wildflowers perched on wooden platforms that were arranged by Shotgun Floral Studio. At the reception, long white dining tables were set up underneath a metal ceiling draped in branches, leaves and twinkling lights that contributed to the overall natural setting. A wooden board displayed paper escort tags that pointed guests in the direction of their seats, which was decorated in a lush wildflower arrangement on top and tambourines tacked to the surface. With the help of Enjoy Events, tables were set with delicate white napkins and blue menu cards on top of woven plates. The wedding invitations truly caught our attention, with its simple stationery mixed with an intricate olive branch design and elegant calligraphy. “Design is very important to me, in particular printed design,” Sarah says. “The invitations were one of my favorite elements. We incorporated both traditional and contemporary fonts, as well as a loose take on an olive branch, as an ode to the location. To complete the package, we sourced vintage California stamps. Perfection!”
