A Rustic Brown-and-Navy Wedding at Wedgewood at Tapestry House in Laporte, Colorado
Using chocolate brown and navy blue with pops of olive green for their color palette, Hannah Anderson (24 and works at Trader Joe’s) and Matt McDonald (24 and a sales representative) had a casual, rustic wedding. They chose Wedgewood at Tapestry House in Laporte, Colorado, for their venue, which inspired all the shabby-chic details with its gorgeous evergreen trees and mountainous views. “We chose the Tapestry House because it is in a really great location,” Hannah says. “Although it is slightly off the beaten path, the countryside is truly beautiful and makes this venue unique. We were also really happy that we didn't need to do a whole lot of decorating because of the natural beauty.” One of our favorite details of the day was Hannah’s mint and ivory bouquet gorgeously arranged by Sharon Millis from Best Day Floral Design. The textured arrangement even included green cabbage for a fun twist! Another standout detail? The gorgeous four-tier ivory wedding cake from Alisa Seidling from Cake Works Bakery. The lace detailing on two layers and the turquoise sugar rose added an elegant feel to the otherwise rustic wedding. There are so many details we love—see them all, beautifully captured by Erika Overholt Photography, below.
