A Rustic-Chic Barn Wedding at Along Came Trudy in Springfield, Oregon

The intimate orchards and rustic barn at Along Came Trudy in Springfield, Oregon, had a charming nature that welcomed everyone who stepped foot onto the property. "Fall is my favorite time of year, and I fell in love with this place the moment I saw it," Jamie Sogge (31 and in management) says of her marriage to Wesley Fisher (30 and a transportation director). "It was quaint and charming and had the most magical and comforting ambience." Inspired by their love for the season, Jamie and Wesley had a rustic-chic wedding that reflected their laid-back personalities, captured on camera by Mark Longstreet Photography. The entire wedding party was dressed to fit a black-and-white palette—from the groomsmen's black tuxedos with a matching black tie, to the white dresses with black sashes that the flower girls wore. The ceremony took place outside under what looked like a natural tree canopy, where Jamie and Wesley stood at the metal arbor adorned with natural foliage and hanging black lanterns. The reception that followed was held inside the barn, decorated in white paper lanterns and string lights that hung above the dining tables and dance floor. Our favorite detail was the two-tier white wedding cake wrapped with black at the bottom of each layer, with wooden bride and groom figurines that reflected Jamie and Wesley. "We wanted to be true to ourselves and have our wedding be an enhanced version of us," Jamie says. "We are very down to earth and know how to prioritize, and I think our wedding was a reflection of those characteristics."
