A Rustic-Chic Barn Wedding at Fulton Valley Farms in Towanda, Kansas

When Jeffrey Lane (27 and an operating engineer) left small-town Montana to work on the Keystone Pipeline, he expected to see the country. But he didn't predict that Kansas held the love of his life, Amber Meadows (26 and a human resources manager). When they planned their wedding, Amber and Jeff looked at only one venue: Fulton Valley Farms. It was just a 20-minute drive from their church, and it had the country vibe they were going for. They softened up their rustic setting with a soft palette of peaches, creams, ivory and purples and used accents of lace for a romantic effect. At the reception Amber and Jeff handed out personalized drink koozies, which came in handy, because they served cans out beer out of a feeding trough. Guests helped themselves to a popcorn bar before the bridal party kicked off the festivities with a grand march—a tradition in Amber's family. —Meghan Overdeep
