Lauren Breault (25 and a project engineer) and Drake Costa (25 and a project manager) searched for the ideal location to hold their rustic-chic wedding. So when they stumbled across Amador Cellars in Plymouth, California, they fell in love with the on-site barn and open farmland that molded the country style. Lauren and Drake decked out the day in a color scheme of gray, yellow and white, accenting everything from the wedding party attire to the candy spread at the reception. The ceremony took place inside the barn, where Lauren walked down the aisle lined with white and yellow flowers hanging in glass vases, captured on camera by Christopher Cooke Photography. The cocktail hour immediately followed, where passed appetizers and yard games kept friends and family members busy. Guests located their brown escort tags pinned onto a white picket fence for their assigned dining tables, marked with burlap flag numbers and decorated with white and yellow flower arrangements. We loved all the elements that followed the rustic-chic style and the day's color scheme, especially the white tiered cake propped up on a silver stand with flowers cascading down the side, baked by Ingrid's Cakes. Drake proposed with a gorgeous round-cut diamond ring, with a band embellished in diamonds that brought additional sparkle and shine.
"The dress I chose was an ivory Stella York wedding dress with a vintage style that went perfectly with the setting," Lauren says. "My dress was paired with pearl earrings and a simple pearl necklace given to me by my grandmother."
