Talia Kauk (32 and a photographer) and Casey Siens (36 and an open source IT professional) wanted to have their rustic wedding at a place that felt personal to them. They decided on Talia's parents' farm, which they had inherited from her paternal grandparents, just outside Brush, Colorado. "Our wedding was a rustic, country wedding in a place that means the world to me," Talia says. Jessi Dalton Photography followed the entire outdoor wedding capturing every special moment and all the burlap and lace details. When deciding on their wedding day fashions, Talia and Casey wanted to continue their country-inspired theme. "We went for a vintage country look to fit the feel of the venue," Talia says. She wore a Maggie Sottero lace wedding dress with cap sleeves and a champagne sash while Casey wore a classic black suit with a white polka-dot tie. They chose a country-inspired color palette of brown, peach and off-white with blue accents. "I thought it would complement the country wedding we were having with lots of lace and burlap," Talia says. Talia and Casey credit their florist, Down The Aisle By Maria, for most of their beautiful decor, including the small bouquets in mason jars that lined the ceremony aisle and flowers that adorned the wooden gazebo that was specially built for the ceremony. "I loved my flowers so much," Talia says, "Maria was so important in creating a beautiful day for me in putting together arrangements." In the end, however, having their family and friends take part in their wedding was what was most important to Talia and Casey. "Casey and I really wanted our family and friends to be a part of our wedding," Talia says. "We had family arrive earlier in the week to help us get the house ready, and my good friends helped me with my flowers, wedding planning, photography and music. We even had a friend as our officiant."

Talia could not get enough of the flower arrangements created by the wedding day's florist, Down The Aisle By Maria. Maria created Talia's bouquet with roses, baby's breath and berries, along with lace and burlap touches that matched the country style of the wedding.
Casey wore a classic black suit with a black-and-white polka-dot tie. The wedding day's florist, Down The Aisle By Maria, created a boutonniere that followed the country-inspired color palette using a peach rose and red berries wrapped in twine.
Talia's family's ranch acted as the perfect rustic, country-style setting for the wedding. "It is a farm located outside Brush, Colorado," she says. "Our wedding was a rustic, country wedding in a place that means the world to me."

It was important to Talia and Casey that they include their family and friends in many aspects of their wedding day. The wedding held on Talia's family's property, and her uncle drove her to the wedding ceremony in his bright green vintage car.
A large, wooden gazebo was built specifically for Talia and Casey's outdoor, fall wedding and was adorned with white drapery, fall leaves, candles and lanterns to complete the rustic style of the day.
Talia and Casey's wedding day florist, Down The Aisle By Maria, created the unique and beautiful floral arrangements displayed throughout the day. For the ceremony aisle, Maria created small bouquets of various flowers, including roses and baby's breath, and placed them in glass mason jars to hang from hooks.
Talia and Casey's fall wedding featured a lot of elements reflective of the fall season in the country. "I wanted to work with a color palette of brown, peach and off-white with a little blue thrown in," Talia says. "I thought it would complement the country wedding we were having, with lots of lace and burlap."
