A Rustic DIY Wedding at Dellwood Barn in St. Paul, Minnesota

This wedding celebrated the best of country style. The sprawling Dellwood Barn surrounded by the rolling hills of St. Paul, Minnesota, created a rustic space for Brittany Gruidl's (24 and a hairstylist) and Tyler Kari's (23 and a diesel mechanic) wedding. "The venue was absolutely perfect," Brittany says. "The reason we looked at barns is because Tyler is from the country and loved the thought of that, and I really loved the rustic theme. It was prefect for us." Brittany wore an Allure Bridals dress with a dramatic lace back. The bride's attire was beautifully paired with a DIY blush peony, rose and baby's breath bouquet. In true country fashion, the groomsmen wore cowboy boots. Their light gray Men's Wearhouse suits coordinated perfectly with the wedding colors of blush pink gray and white. "I loved how soft and light the colors were, and I felt like it was perfect for a spring wedding," Brittany says. After the ceremony, guests moved to the barn for a classic reception. On the tables were DIY centerpieces of baby's breath bouquets in mason jars. Guests enjoyed getting to know one another over card games—decks were placed on each table—and through a photo booth provided by Photo Booth Creations. Our favorite twist? Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Brittany and Tyler served their guests four types of cookies. See more from the day, beautifully captured by Time Into Pixels Photography, below.
