A Rustic, Elegant Wedding at Centaur Arabian Farms in Flint, Texas

Courtney Willer (24 and a nurse) and Brandon Gibbons (26 and a service engineer) brought an air of elegance to their barn wedding at Centaur Arabian Farms in Flint, Texas. They chose the all-inclusive venue for the staff’s expertise and the rustic atmosphere. “This was the first venue we visited and we fell in love,” Courtney says. The couple selected a color palette of royal blue with neutrals, which popped in the wedding party fashions: The bridesmaids wore vibrant hi-lo dresses, and the groomsmen wore royal blue ties and pocket squares in their tan suits. Courtney stood apart in a sophisticated Sottero and Midgley ball gown from Dream Day Bridal: The dress featured a strapless sweetheart neckline on a ruched bodice, an embellished waist and a full ruffled skirt that flowed into a chapel train. The ceremony took place outside, and the couple faced their guests as they exchanged their vows, so they could feel included. At the barn reception, the couple displayed two cakes by Chez Bazan that reflected their personal styles: The chic five-tier wedding cake displayed a lush pink floral cascade, and the groom’s cake showcased the couple’s love for the University of Texas Longhorns with burnt-orange tributes to the school and the words, “Hook’ed on her for life.” Courtney strongly recommends having a wedding coordinator, and loved the services at Centaur Arabian Farms. “Having a wedding coordinator was a lifesaver. I actually got to enjoy the wedding planning. [The coordinator] ensured that all details on the timeline were met and was able to give me references for vendors.” See the sweet details were captured by Photography by Gema.
