A Rustic, Elegant Wedding at Rancho Mirando in Fischer, Texas

Once Kathryn Boutte (29 and a financial adviser) and Andrew Gillette (32 and a geoscience analyst) decided to get married outside, everything else fell into place. "It just made sense to keep the theme simple and enjoy the natural beauty of our venue—rustic but not country," Kathryn says. "Green is our favorite color, so that was always a given, and then decided we on neutral earth tones for the rest. Nothing too showy or bold." A giant green tree motif was used throughout the stationery, hinting at the natural beauty in Texas's stunning Hill Country. "We are both in our element outside, and an outdoor wedding best reflected us as a couple," Kathryn says. "Our personalities are laid-back and easygoing, and we wanted our wedding to be a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone. It was enjoyable for me because I didn't get worked up over any details. At the end of the day, you still say 'I do' and nothing else seems to matter." —Meghan Overdeep
