A Rustic, Elegant Wedding at Ravines Wine Cellars in Geneva, New York

Jacqueline Lagratta-Mattern (27 and a digital marketing manager) and Patrick Mattern (30 and a medical student) created a rustic, elegant space at Ravines Wine Cellars in Geneva, New York, using burlap and lace accents mixed with winery-inspired decor and hanging chandeliers. "We went with Ravines Wine Cellars because the barn was the perfect environment and feel for us," Jacqueline says, "rustic, magical and classic." The wedding day photographer, John Schlia Photography, followed the summer wedding from the intimate, outdoor ceremony overlooking the vineyard to the white tented reception. Matching her rose gold engagement ring, Jacqueline chose a David Tutera blush wedding dress with a pretty lace overlay and Jimmy Choo blush wedges. "It was a pale blush and rose gold day," she says. Jacqueline added chocolate brown and eggplant to the colors of the day, which paired well with the winery setting. Following this vision, Jacqueline's bridesmaids wore knee-length eggplant dresses, while Patrick and his groomsmen donned tan suits with brown ties. The tented reception's dining tables were dressed in ivory tablecloths with wildflower centerpieces created by the wedding day florist, Don's Own Flower Shop. Keeping with the rustic winery inspirations, table names were various wine countries and displayed with a wine bottle wrapped in burlap. Jacqueline and Patrick not only created a beautiful wedding day, but they also put together a fun-filled weekend for their guests, starting with dessert the Friday before the wedding and ending with a wine tour the Sunday after. "We truly love each other and our family and friends," Jacqueline says. "This was as much for them as it was for us."
