Jada Rios (21 and an entrepreneur) and Ryan Rios (24 and a civil engineer) wanted to celebrate their love at a venue that spoke for itself and totally represented their style. Sisterdale Dancehall in Boerne, Texas, won them over immediately—its rustic-chic vibe with vintage details, a gritty outdoors feel with massive oak trees around the property and especially the dance hall were full of the character they wanted for their wedding day. Rhonda, their event coordinator, was their superhero from start to finish, helping Jada and Ryan decorate with their palette of lavender with darker shades of purple, brown and neutrals. Their inspiration came from two things Jada loves: lavender and wheat. Sisterdale Dancehall provided most of the decor, and Jada and Ryan brought in accent details, such as vintage books, jars, candles and of course lavender and wheat everywhere (see the bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, and wedding arch). The most relaxing part of the day was the reception—and you can bet that in a dance hall, everyone was up and out of their seats two-stepping the night away. The highlight? The wedding party started with a choreographed dance to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’s “Uptown Funk.” Kelsey Butler Photography was there to capture all the pretty details, below.

Lavender and wheat inspired the colors and design of Jada and Ryan’s wedding. Jada carried a round DIY lavender bouquet (an edgy, rustic look that’s super-pretty with her lace bouquet wrap, pulled from her mother’s wedding dress). Her bridesmaid bouquets included hand-tied lavender and wheat with a touch of baby’s breath.
Ryan’s gift to the groomsmen were the brown leather suspenders and purple bow ties they wore with gray slacks. Their DIY boutonnieres included lavender and wheat.
For a rustic wedding in Texas, what better bridesmaid gift than a denim monogrammed shirt to wear while getting ready? These cute denim button-down shirts fit the wedding theme but were still totally chic and feminine.
Jada and Ryan took every opportunity to customize their ceremony. They lit candles in honor of their grandparents, who couldn’t be there, had family and friends playing and singing songs during special moments, took communion together and wrote their own vows. Every detail was so special and personal.
Jada wore her dream dress—a strapless Melissa Sweet gown. It was vintage-inspired with six layers of tulle, delicate lace details and beading sewn throughout the dress. Absolutely gorgeous!
The bridesmaids wore flowing floor-length tulle dresses in a dark blush. The maid of honor wore a dark purple dress to match the groomsmen’s bow ties. All the dresses were one-shouldered and braided down the back for an unexpected, elegant twist.
An eclectic mix of centerpieces, including vintage books, jars and candles filled with lavender, wheat and baby’s breath added to the vintage vibe at Sisterdale Dancehall in Boerne, Texas.
Going along with their natural, rustic theme, Jada and Ryan’s wedding cake was perfect. It looked like birch wood, with their initials carved in the center.
At the end of the night, Jada and Ryan made their grand exit to a bubble send-off.
