A Rustic Fall Wedding at Sundown Farms Plantation in Moultrie, Georgia

Ana Eatmon (25 and a dental hygienist) and Jesse Mitchell (27 and a civil engineer) both grew up in the same small town, but it wasn't until Ana was 18 and Jesse 20 that the two finally met at their town's local riding club arena. "No pickup lines were needed, Jesse has a sweet southern charm that's hard to resist," says Ana. "All it took was just one look and we both felt an instant connection." After six years of dating, Jesse proposed at the Atlanta Botanical Garden in Atlanta, GA. The couple planned a rustic, country affair at Sundown Farms Plantation in Moultrie, GA. The historic property was the perfect fit for the wedding's vibe, with a beautiful landscape, water views and a Southern style hunting lodge surrounded by pines and cotton fields. Playing off the fall season, Ana and Jesse chose a color palette of rich autumnal colors like burnt orange, yellow, red and brown. Seasonal blooms like mums and dried elements like wheat and scabiosa pods were incorporated into the bouquets and centerpieces. Highlighting the wedding's rustic theme, Ana and Jesse incorporated mason jars, burlap and cotton into the decor.
