rn Jessica Perez (26 and a wine sales representative) and Thomas Prongay (26 and a police officer), high school and college sweethearts who rekindled their love years later, had a truly joyous ceremony and reception surrounded by family and friends. “Our paths crossed once more in 2014, and we fell in love all over again,” Jessica says. Tommy proposed to Jessica in Key West, surprising her with a brunch with her entire family in attendance. “It was everything I could have dreamed of,” she says. The couple said “I do” and danced the night away at Thalatta Estate in Palmetto Bay, Florida. “It was just a gorgeous venue, and we had the convenience of having both our ceremony and reception at the same location,” Jessica says. “We were able to have the ceremony right near the water, and it was picture perfect.” Jessica and Tommy decorated their Spanish-style venue with a rustic palette of burgundy, blush and ivory with accents of glitzy gold. “I wanted the day to feel organic and to be true to our style,” Jessica says. “The flowers really helped us achieve the organic look while the color scheme and decor really were true to our style.” Floral arrangements of lush greenery and soft peonies added a romantic and organic touch. “We were able to infuse rustic with elegance, and it was everything we dreamed of, from the ceremony doors to the succulents on our place card table,” Jessica says. After a beautiful waterfront ceremony, the couple's family and friends enjoyed Spanish-style tapas at cocktail hour. “The food was a hit, but even more so was the dancing under the tent,” Jessica says of the transparent tent, where they could see the moon and stars. —Marissa Hermanson

Jessica’s white and burgundy hand-tied bridal bouquet was accented with sculptural succulents.
The ceremony space, which overlooked the bay, was decorated with gold chiavari chairs and benches for seating, along with a rustic burlap aisle runner and weathered doors. "It was a beautiful day with birds flying over us in flocks," Jessica says.
On her wedding day, Jessica wore an opulent ball gown. “I wanted to feel like a bride, and that dress did just that paired with a long veil and train,” Jessica says. “The dress was beautifully embroidered and fit like a glove.”
A boutonniere with a mini succulent matched Jessica's succulent-studded bouquet.
Bridesmaids wore floor-length burgundy gowns and carried blush and red posies.
Tommy and his groomsmen accessorized their Calvin Klein suits from Men's Wearhouse with red-checkered socks.
A weathered credenza was lined with brown-paper escort cards and decorated with mini succulents.
One of Jessica's favorite elements was the clear-top tent. After the ceremony, friends and family enjoyed Spanish-style appetizers at the cocktail hour. The couple's reception was held under the tent with string lights and chandeliers.
Greenery was incorporated into the table centerpieces from garland runners to compact arrangements. “They felt so organic and incorporated my favorite flower: peonies,” Jessica says.
Tables were adorned with ivory linens, gold chargers and taper candles. “One of my favorite features was the taper candles I found at the Salvation Army, and we were able to use them for succulents and lights,” Jessica says.
The newlyweds sat at a sweetheart table, which was decorated with mercury-glass candleholders, mini floral arrangements and gold "Mr. & Mrs." signage at the reception at Thalatta Estate in Palmetto Bay, Florida.
The phrase “It was always you” topped the cake, which was perfect because the couple—high school and college sweethearts—rekindled their love years later.
"We gave custom shot glasses since we come from families that know how to party," Jessica says of their favors. "They included our names and wedding date and read 'Cheers to love, laughter and happily ever after.' "
Jessica and Tommy set up a station with sparklers so guests could help light the way for their grand exit at Thalatta Estate in Palmetto Bay, Florida.
After dancing the night away, Jessica and Tommy ended their evening with a romantic sparkler send-off.
