A Rustic-Glam Black and Gold Wedding at the Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley, California

Ari Cover (27 and a lawyer) and Andrew Messenger (26 and an engineer) were married in a gorgeous, rustic-glam wedding with their whopping 22-person bridal party (11 on each side) by their sides. Early in the planning process, Ari and Andrew knew they wanted three things for their ceremony: an officiant they were close with, tradition with personal touches and a service that was short and sweet. "We thought for months about who would be the perfect officiant, but no one was clicking," Ari says. "When my closest cousin, Bryce—who was already a groomsmen— mentioned he was officiating another friend’s wedding, we knew he was the one. He did an amazing job and made the ceremony so personal and unique." From there, a black-and-white color scheme provided the backdrop for the day, which Ari accented with her two favorite obsessions: giraffes and gold glitter. "Our amazing coordinator and dear friend, Krystel Tien, knew about these obsessions and surprised us with over a dozen gold glitter giraffes all over the cocktail hour and reception," Ari says. "They were such a unique and personal touch and we will always remember them." —Meghan Overdeep
