It's a beautiful thing when the worlds of rustic and glam collide. That's exactly what happened at the chic wedding of Molly McDonald (25 and a communication/HR professional) and Ryan Anderson (26 and a software engineer). Combining Southern hospitality and Irish charm, their classy affair in green and white took place at Riverside on the Potomac in Leesburg, Virginia. Florist Andrea Gagnon from LynnVale Studios created gorgeous designs using dinner plate dahlias, ivory roses, magnolia leaves, cinderella pumpkins and hypericum. These flower arrangements wreathed the wooden wedding arbor for the outdoor ceremony and adorned the farmhouse dining tables at the barn reception. Molly's French silk wedding dress was truly a showstopper, evoking Old Hollywood vibes as she danced the dougie with her father during their choreographed father-daughter dance that had guests cheering. Molly and Ryan's stunning celebration was perfectly captured by Rebekah J. Murray Photography. "I was so adamant that we have Rebekah as our photographer that I messaged her while we were booking our venue to make sure she was available for those dates," Molly says. On how she and Ryan made their style choices, Molly says, "We wanted to look back on our wedding in 50 years and still love all of the choices we made."

"Ryan has the ring custom made by Dominion Jewelers," Molly says. "It's my dream ring, an oval cut diamond set in platinum with a diamond halo. The band is gold with little diamonds encrusted in it. It was made to look like a family heirloom, and I hope to one day pass it on to my children and grandchildren."
Since Molly's favorite flower, peonies, weren't in season during the time of her wedding, Andrea from LynnVale Studios helped her craft the perfect bouquet. She used ivory and blush roses that resembled peonies and paired them with leaves from Ryan's parents' magnolia tree, since Molly also loves magnolia. She also incorporated small, white dahlias into the bouquet as well as basil leaves, which had the arrangement smelling fresh all day.
Molly's bridesmaids wore J. Crew dresses in the styles of their choice. The dresses were cocktail length in pale, blue-green silk chiffon.

Molly wore an asymmetrical French silk wedding dress with a cowl neckline on her wedding day, evoking an Old Hollywood vibe. She bought the dress from Le Reve Bridal. She also wore a scalloped-edge cathedral veil.

"The biggest surprise of our reception was my father daughter dance with my dad," Molly says. "My dad is the funnest person ever and I knew we had to do something together. We choreographed a dance that involved the dougie, Single Ladies and Thriller. It was a hit and I am so happy we put all of the hours in rehearsing it."
Molly and Ryan opted for a simple white wedding cake that was flavored with raspberry filling and cream cheese frosting. They also had rice krispies and raspberry chocolate truffles for dessert.
