A Rustic-Meets-Elegant Affair at Mint Springs Farm in Nolensville, Tennessee
Scott Drennan (31 and a missionary) first met Paige Stillwell (27 and a missionary) at church a month before she left for an international ministry outside of Cape Town. The pair decided to try dating long distance and Scott came to visit two months later. After only another two months, Scott proposed to Paige at the exact spot in church where they first met, surrounded by musicians and candles. Because they were living in South Africa leading up to the wedding, Paige and Scott needed a venue that would help streamline the planning process. "Mint Springs Farm seemed like the ideal location since they took care of all the decorations, flowers and catering so we didn't need to worry about a ton of different moving parts when we were halfway around the world!" Guests were invited to an intimate outdoor ceremony followed by a sophisticated barn reception. The rustic-yet-elegant decor included exposed farm tables with navy runners as well as silver mercury glass centerpieces filled with green and white hydrangea arrangements. "I like clean and simple for most decor and really loved how the fresh greens and whites of spring contrasted against the navy bridesmaid dresses and table runners," says Paige. "The venue at Mint Springs Farm was so beautiful that we kept most of the decor simple and picked timeless accents to match that feel."
