When the announcer called Erin Diamon (27 and a nurse) at one of her horse shows, she walked out to the center of the riding arena with her show number facing the judge. Little did she expect Logan Whitfield (29 and an electrician) to sneak up from behind and get down on one knee! After the initial surprise wore off, the pair spent the next year and a half planning their ocean-meets-stable celebration at The Watson House in Emerald Isle, North Carolina. "We chose this location because it mixed my love of horses with Logan's love of the beach," says Erin. "It's also right on the sound and has a beautiful garden setting!" The couple exchanged vows under a crystal chandelier hanging from a rustic wood arbor followed by an elegant tented reception. The couple enhanced their yellow and purple color palette with arrangements of colorful lilies, orchids and roses. From horseshoe table numbers to starfish napkin holders, the couple infused both nautical and rustic elements throughout their decor. After enjoy a buttercream cake with a fresh flower cascade, each guest had to opportunity to light a biodegradable floating lantern.

For a princess feel, Erin wore a her hair down with a tiara and purple flower.
Erin carried a cascade bouquet of yellow roses, purple orchids and yellow lilies to complement her traditional ball gown. "I made sure that the cascade wasn't too long because I am short and I didn't want it to over power me!" says Erin.
