A Rustic Mountain Wedding at Inn at Tern Lake in Moose Pass, Alaska
Wanting a wedding vibe that combined pearls and vintage lace with a rustic cabin in the woods, Jenna Krohn (24 and a senior HR adviser) and Kurt Krohn (25 and an IT support analyst) chose the Inn at Tern Lake in Moose Pass, Alaska, for their intimate fete. They loved the charming aura of the guesthouse and the breathtaking scenery, including lush greenery, mountainous backdrops and views of Tern Lake. Jenna and Kurt wanted their wedding to feel like it fit into the natural surroundings as opposed to competing with it, so they chose a white, brown and purple palette for all the details. We loved how they personalized the decor too, with lots of DIY projects. Jenna’s mother was instrumental in making sure the day came together and made everything from the silk flower florals to the bold stationery. One of our favorite details was the personalized facts on the reception table. Jenna and Kurt put together a list of tidbits most guests might not know—like how neither of them knows how to swim or how they’ve seen every episode of "Seinfeld"—so guests felt like they were truly a part of the couple’s life.
