A Rustic, Nature-Inspired Wedding at Swiftwater Cellars in Cle Elum, Washington

This rustic, natural wedding surrounded by mountains at Swiftwater Cellars in Cle Elum, Washington, reflected the love Bethany Rasmussen (30 and a first grade teacher) and Lucas Rubstello (32 and an analytics manager) shared for the outdoors. "We have spent hours backpacking, snowshoeing, skiing and hiking together in the Cascade Mountains," Bethany says. "We wanted a location that reflected our personalities and relationship, and this winery was the perfect backdrop for our special day." Bethany and Lucas wanted succulents incorporated into the day's decor, combined with hues of silver, purple, teal and gray. The ceremony took place in front of a beautiful rustic structure on the lawn, where Bethany and Lucas stood under a hanging wooden beam topped with lush flowers. Inside the barrel room, dining tables draped with teal runners had alternating birch tree trunks and black lanterns centerpieces surrounded by more flower arrangements. Our favorite detail? The bridal bouquet and boutonnieres dominantly made up of lush succulents, captured by JordanQuinn Photography, which tied back to where the inspiration for the palette and decorations began. "We knew we wanted our flowers to be succulents, and the rest fell into place," Bethany says.
