Wanting to escape the brutal North East winter for their April wedding, Kimberly and Garette headed south to St Pete Beach, Florida where the couple took full advantage of the warm climate with an outdoor ceremony and reception overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.

Kimberly's strapless Maggie Sottero wedding dress was covered in floral embroidery.
Kimberly and Garette posed for photos after the ceremony with the two llamas Garette hired to surprise Kimberly.
Succulents, dried pods and stock flowers added major texture to Kimberly's pastel bridal bouquet.
Kimberly and Garette passed on the traditional guest book and had their guests write their congratulations and advice on Jenga blocks.
Purple stock and peach colored roses popped against the lush green succulents and filler in the bridesmaid bouquets.
Guests popped their well-wishes into a white mailbox displayed at the reception.
Kimberly chose a simple pair of white Nine West ankle-strap sandals to wear with her embroidered mermaid gown.
The couple placed brightly colored streamers at the entrance of the ceremony for guests to wave at the end of the ceremony in celebration instead of the traditional rice toss.
Gray woven stone lanterns were mixed in with small vases of bright purple and yellow flowers.
A four post wooden ceremony arch was draped in airy white fabric and cascading arrangements of hydrangeas, roses and stock in soft pastel hues.
Kimberly and Garette exchanged vows in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the sandy shores of the Gulf of Mexico.
Kimberly loves llamas, so to surprise her on their wedding day, Garette brought in two llamas (dressed up in purple floral tuxedo bibs!) for the ceremony, which the flower girls ushered down the aisle.
The glittery handmade table numbers were placed in brightly colored frames, adding a fresh pop of color to the tablescapes.
Taking advantage of the warm, sunny Florida weather, the couple hosted their reception outdoors overlooking the water.
