Rustic romance never looked better than it did with Victoria Simpson (19 and a server) and Caleb Moffatt’s (21 and a nurse) shabby chic wedding. They set the tone with their gorgeous barn venue at The Loft at Keith Farms in Ash Grove, Missouri, which they chose for its vaulted ceilings, oversized windows and indoor and outdoor options. As if that wasn’t enough, the staff was a total dream. “We looked and talked to many different locations, but they were the sweetest and worked with our budget the best,” Victoria says. “Also, they only have one wedding every weekend so we didn't feel rushed. A added bonus was we got to have the barn to set up for a few days before. They didn't charge us extra, which was amazing! No place offers that!” Victoria and Caleb wanted to add a little romance to their day so they used a soft blush and ivory color palette accented with pops of mint, baby blue and green. We love the beautiful bridesmaid dresses where the maid of honor wore blue and the other bridesmaids wore different shades of pink. The groomsmen held their own too and donned dapper gray suits with handmade patterned bow ties. Our favorite part was the DIY wedding cake made by Caleb’s mother. The black-and-white fondant cake was hand painted by Victoria’s cousin on each tier. See all of our favorite details, beautifully captured by Sheri Holloway Photography, below!

Victoria carried a lush bouquet including blush roses, white hydrangeas, pink sweet peas and dusty miller. She loved how the bouquet was simple and chic and perfectly complemented the shabby chic wedding theme.
The flower girl wore a simple white dress. Victoria and Caleb loved how simple it was and how well it matched the shabby chic wedding theme. The flower girl wore her hair in a loose updo (similar to Victoria’s) and completed the look with a crystal headband for a little glamorous flair.
Victoria’s maid of honor and sister wore a baby blue tulle dress while the other bridesmaids wore different shades of blush. The bride love how the blue dress made the maid of honor stand out from the rest of the wedding party while still providing a soft, romantic feel. The groomsmen wore gray suits with blush or blue patterned bow ties.
Victoria wore white wedding heels that were decorated with white fabric on the back that looked like hydrangeas! She loved the romantic flair the gorgeous shoes added to her look as well as how well they complemented her hydrangea floral arrangements.

Victoria wore a gorgeous A-line wedding dress for her outdoor wedding. She loved the romantic sweetheart neckline, but the modest tulle covering that added a little extra support so she wouldn’t have to be tugging at a strapless dress. She wore her hair in a loose updo to show off the glamorous detailing.
Victoria and Caleb had a bunch of disposable cameras for guests to take and use throughout the cocktail hour and reception. They were a great way to add ultra-fun and personalized perspectives to the wedding day. Guests also went home with a mixed CD from the couple, which were displayed in a vintage black-and-white box.
“We had our wedding at in Ash Grove, Missouri,” Victoria says. “It was at a beautiful barn called The Loft at Keith Farms. We looked and talked to many different locations, but they were the sweetest and worked with our budget the best. Also, they only have one wedding every weekend so we didn't feel rushed. A added bonus was we got to have the barn to set up for a few days before. They didn't charge us extra, which was amazing! No place offers that!"
The reception tables were decorated with burlap runners covered in small patches of moss in the center. They were topped with reclaimed wood table numbers and mason jars holding hydrangeas, sweet peas and seeded eucalyptus. Victoria loved the rustic look of the arrangements, but also loved how they added a little romance to the wooden barn venue.
The reception tables were decorated with blush tulle in the center of tall gold candelabras. They added crystals and roses for a little added romance to the look. Victoria and Caleb loved how the string lights added a softer look to the rustic barn venue.
