A Rustic, Shabby-Chic Outdoor Wedding at a Private Residence in Georgetown, Texas

Under a beautiful old oak tree, Hannah Sharp (24 and a nonprofit employee) and Cole Simmons (22 and an accountant) pledged their love for each other, surrounded by the beauty of Mother Nature and charming vintage decor at a friend’s farm in Georgetown, Texas. “Cole and I love being outdoors, so we picked this setting for our wedding,” Hannah says. She drew inspiration from Pinterest, The Knot and her mother for the overall look and feel of the occasion. “Most of the details that day were ideas my mom came up with," Hannah says. "We did a lot with the help of many friends to help make our day unique to us. We were so lucky to have family and friends in our lives to help make it all possible." Some of those DIY elements included a painted buffet as the altar, a homemade dessert table, adorable signs and vintage doors leading into the ceremony. “From waking up that day to going to bed that night, I loved everything about my wedding day,” Hannah says. "All our personal details and touches made that day very memorable." —Ginger Harris
