Amy (26 and a marketing specialist) and Ryan (31 with a career in risk management) met at a birthday party in 2011 while wearing matching flannel shirts and ended up spending the night listening to music and playing games. Just a month later, after attending a concert for Ryan's band, Amy asked Ryan for a game of euchre after the show. Since then the couple had spent two years together when Ryan proposed to Amy in Christmastime 2014 while enjoying a night of homemade gin and tonics and music from their favorite bands. Amy and Ryan chose to have their Spring wedding at the Avon Wedding Barn just outside of Indianapolis, IN. "We wanted an outdoor wedding with security just in case it rained," Amy explains. Luckily for them, the weather was beautiful and they were able to have the outdoor wedding they hoped for. The navy, gray and ivory color palette paired perfectly with the casual yet elegant theme of the day. Staying in touch with their roots, Amy and Ryan provided guests with Tuscan chicken and BBQ ribs from catererJonathan Byrd's. From the outdoor setting to the BBQ, Amy and Ryan made sure to make their day as fitting to them as possible. "I think the element of our wedding that best reflected us as a couple was content and the natural outdoor setting of our ceremony," Amy says.
