Tennessee Volunteers fans will love this wedding. Andrea Primm (36 and a nurse practitioner) and Byron Schneider (33 and a safety and security officer) included details from their favorite college football team throughout their wedding, including a palette of orange, ivory and gray, a Vols-flag blindfold before their first look and even a football helmet groom’s cake. Sarah Richardson of Dream Maker Weddings took Andrea and Byron’s vision of a laid-back family picnic for their wedding day and made it a reality at Buffalo River Farm and Studio Bed and Breakfast in Summertown, Tennessee, a working farm with a rustic, shabby-chic vibe. The day unfolded with an outdoor ceremony in an open field, where Byron’s niece performed meaningful music choices that reflected Andrea and Byron as a couple. Later, guests played cornhole and moved into the reception, which the florist, McKelvey’s Florist, decorated with orange and white flowers accented with fresh fruit—oranges and peaches—in the vases. Even the wedding cake was white buttercream with orange roses. See the truly Tennessee wedding details below, captured by Ivory Door Studio.
